La guerra atenta contra la convivencia y
viola el más elemental de los derechos, el derecho a la vida. En estos días, al
juzgar en conciencia la violación, la moral no se sustenta tanto en legendarias
referencias profundas, sino en adaptar estas a un utilitarismo práctico que
justifique la dinámica interna de la propia ideología. En otras palabras, la
moral es acomodaticia. O lo que es lo mismo, se podría decir que la historia de
la guerra representa la permanente crisis de la moral.
War threatens coexistence, violating the
most basic of rights; the right to life. These days, by consciously judging that
violation, morals are not supported so much in well-known and profound
references, as in adapting them to a practical utilitarianism that justifies
the inner dynamic of the own ideology. In other words, morals are adaptive. It
could be said that war history represents the permanent crisis of the morals.
Así es como se ha construido el concepto
de guerra justa, o guerra preventiva que legitima barbaries. Justificar la guerra representa, por tanto,
un acto de violencia inherente a la misma guerra. Careta de humanidad de la más profunda
inhumanidad, que por haberse perpetuado en la historia no justifica su oposición
más radical con la ética y con la efectiva moral.
This is the way in which the so called
fair, preventive war concept, leading to barbarism, has been developed. To
justify war is an act of violence inherent to the same war. Humanity mask of the deepest inhumanity, whose
perpetuation in history does not justify its most radical opposition with the
ethics and effective morals.
En cambio los pacifistas son difusores de un espíritu de
entendimiento y comprensión entre los pueblos. Su fin ético y moral es
conseguir la paz y los acuerdos sin derramamiento de sangre. La serie “aseo bélico” es un alegato en favor
de la paz. Pretende operar a la manera
del estratega Sun Tzu en su obra “El arte de la guerra”, vencer sin llegar a la batalla. Entendiendo que una moral permisiva de la
guerra necesita aseo, Muguerza recurre a piletas de hormigón de lavar ropa
caídas ya en desuso. La limpieza libra
de efectos perniciosos, de malos olores, de miasmas pestilentes que se
desprenden de todo lo que está abandonado a la putrefacción; el aseo mantiene
libre de hedores, renueva el aire, refresca la sangre y hasta proporciona a la
imaginación una especie de alegría. De
modo que recurrir a la pileta es apelar, en definitiva, a hacer reflexionar sobre
las contradicciones de una moral poco moral.

However, pacifists are spreaders of an
understanding and comprehension spirit among people. Their moral and ethic aim is
to achieve peace and agreement without bloodshed. The series “war cleansing” is
a plea for peace. It attempts to operate on the same terms as the strategist
Sun Tzu on his work “The art of war”, to defeat without going into battle. Being
aware that a war permissive moral needs cleansing, Muguerza uses old, concrete,
washing sinks that have fallen in disuse.
The cleaning gets rid of pernicious
effects, bad smells and stinking stenches that emanate from everything left to
putrefaction; cleaning keeps everything free from stench, refreshes the air,
renews the blood and provides the imagination with some kind of joy. So,
resorting to the washing sinks asks for reflection on the contradictions of an
unmoral moral. The morality of the powerful plunges into filth that needs to be
washed to recover its health.
